In Summer 2014, Invisible Dust will work with artist Eve Mosher to produce ‘HighWater Line’ where London communities will draw a bold chalk line through their streets, charting an area susceptible to increased flooding caused by climate change.
Visualizing Climate Change – the project began life in New York City in 2007 and was repeated in Miami this year. The project will run in London and Philadelphia in 2014

Sculpt the Future Foundation’s ‘Beat Waste Challenge’ first prize winner – Waste Ventures – addresses the UN in New York on 6 November 2013.
Waste Ventures, founded by young entrepreneur, Parag Gupta, is addressing the challenge of waste management in developing countries and the organisation provides cities with incentives, profit, and sustainable practices – offering practical solutions to an industry needing significant change.

Founded by the Swiss private bank Pictet & Cie in 2008, the Prix Pictet is the world’s leading prize in photography and sustainability. The award aims to uncover outstanding photography applied to confront the most pressing social and environmental challenges of today.
The Prix Pictet has two elements: the prize of CHF 100,000 and the Commission, in which a nominated photographer is invited to undertake a field trip to a region where the Bank is supporting a sustainability project.

A newly opened nutrient recovery reactor in Slough, UK is set to revolutionize crop growing in the area. The new plant makes use of the phosphorus that clogs sewage pipes and could provide a sustainable alternative to the mining of phosphorus, which will be completely used up in a hundred years.

We work really hard on making products that inspire children to find their own stories and ideas rather than following ours. We want the products to have endless possibilities and not have an obvious purpose so that the child will feel a bit puzzled and inspired to create and collaborate with other children.

StFF beneficiary – Roz Savage – has had her new book published. ‘Stop Drifting, Start Rowing’ chronicles her three-stage Pacific voyage that took 300 days to cover 8,000 miles from Sausalito, Calif., to Madang, Papua New Guinea and promotes Roz’s environmental messages about everything from plastic pollution to rising sea levels.
